My Sisters’ Keeper

is a writing, literacy and storytelling program for young women and girls of color between the ages of 13 - 24. Our program consists of a 12 week curricula that is educationally focused and community based. We often times partner with Chicago Public Schools for programming residencies.

College 2 Career

HERStory members are joined by supporting staff and parents for transformational travel and youth leadership development convenings and career interest gatherings. Since 2018 HERStory has taken over 20 young women and girls of color to Washington D.C. to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and recently traveled to New York City to meet with women in leadership at A+E Networks, WNBA NY Liberty (Madison Square Garden), Lower Eastside Girls Club and met with the executive team at the Campaign for Black Male Achivement.
